Find out how to seamlessly infuse math into your welding or other CTE curriculum during this practical webinar co-taught by Bill Wenzel, chair, Welding Department and Katie Lucero, chair, Mathematics Department at Sierra College. Start-Up Hustle Incubator
If you have dreamed of starting a business, you can now apply to be part of the "Start-up Hustle Incubator." It is being sponsored by Hacker Lab in partnership with Sierra College to provide start-ups with resources that will increase their success.
Teams will join a community of entrepreneurs and get amazing support from Oct. 1 to Nov. 12, 2015 to jump-start the first phase of their businesses. Winners will receive prizes to accelerate the launch of the venture.

Hacker Lab Powered by Sierra College Opens
Please stop by to check out the new Hacker Lab location, brought to Rocklin
by Sierra College. The maker and co-working space is located at 4804
Granite Dr., Rocklin, next to Wells Fargo.
The innovation space is open to the public with the goal of providing
education, inspiring innovation, meeting the needs of businesses, offering
real-world experiences for students and supporting start-ups. Companies can
benefit from the creative atmosphere and collaboration to develop new
products and create prototypes.
The maker space includes: Shop Bot CNC router, industrial sewing machines,
3D printer, laser cutter and computer lab. Membership allows 24/7 access and
members can also use the midtown Sacramento location. Businesses can become
sponsors to promote branding, recruit employees and engage with members.
