Ignite CTE Students' Math Skills
Find out how to seamlessly infuse math into your welding or other CTE curriculum during this practical webinar co-taught by Bill Wenzel, chair, Welding Department and Katie Lucero, chair, Mathematics Department at Sierra College. The activities were used successfully in multiple welding classes to raise students' math scores.

Hacker Lab Powered by Sierra College Grand Opening May 7
Please join us for the Grand Opening of the new Hacker Lab location, brought to Rocklin by Sierra College. The celebration will be from 5-7 pm at 4804 Granite Dr., Rocklin.
The maker and co-working space will be open to the public with the goal of providing education, inspiring innovation, meeting the needs of businesses, offering real-world experiences for students and supporting start-ups.
The maker space includes: Shop Bot CNC router, industrial sewing machines, 3D printer, laser cutter and computer lab. Membership allows 24/7 access and members can also use the midtown Sacramento location. Businesses can become sponsors to promote branding, recruit employees and engage with members. Learn more here.
